Attitudes Toward Costumer Service
Building an effective customer service program starts with the attitudes of your customer service representatives. Customers are more likely to respond in a positive way when your customer service approach is accommodating, action-driven and friendly. •A blackrock survey shows that colombian are preferring liquidity over savings.
• Barely half of Americans are saving 5 % or less of their income. a high percentage , 18 % , is absolutely not keeping anything. hhese data are compiled from a survey of Bankrate.
This information is very useful for our bussines because it shows that both colombians and americans are interested in consuming.
NUMBER OF SPECIAL-INTEREST GROUPS
Any person or group that has interest on any phenomenon like environmental or social, that will have a directly o indirectly effect on the company. One example in the case of Colombia is Correcol S.A, which provides a guarantee security and safety to their costumers. There are different interest groups around the world an in Colombia; these groups are directly related to our industry because we have a environmental responsibility and the need to create awareness of the protection of our green planet. One example in Colombia is: CENSAT Agua Viva, that seeks for theoretical, political, methodological methods for the Development and problems related to health, work and environment alternatives. And also advocate the construction of sustainable societies.

Ozone depletion
-
The habitants of Colombia, Ecuador and Peru are subject to "extreme levels of ultraviolet radiation
Tourist destinations depends the existence of a clean and healthy environment, to ensure the quality and long-term viability; without those environmental characteristics, much of the tourism industry could disappear. Ozone depletion affects the tourism industry because without this there will less likelihood of survival, generates more diseases, so people will have not enough health to travel, tourists are concerned about the high UV radiation and there will not be a suitable environment.

Ethical Concerns
•Icesi studies showed that the benefits created through tax incentives such as the exemption from income tax for 30 years for hotels built before December 31, 2017 and recovery of foreign investment have been key aspects in the transformation of tourism in Colombia. (1)
•Colombia has a rich biodiversity of natural and cultural attractions in addition to its proximity to two large seas , the Pacific and the Atlantic, 53 natural areas among other attractions, which has contributed to a positive attitude toward the bussiness, increasing the demand which is a very important fact for our business. Social Responsability
Business and organizations relationship to the society and environment in which they operate is a critical factor in their ability to continue to operate effectively. It is also increasingly being used as a measure of their overall performance.
ISO 26000:2010 provides guidance rather than requirements, so it cannot be certified to unlike some other well-known ISO standards. Instead, it helps clarify what social responsibility is, helps businesses and organizations translate principles into effective actions and shares best practices relating to social responsibility, globally. It is aimed at all types of organizations regardless of their activity, size or location.
Our organization is totally committed with the social responsibility, one of our main objectives is bringing this to the people. As our mission says “Eco travel embraces social and environmental responsibility…”. Our idea, is that individuals know and appreciate the cultures and the environment around them, and the best way to do this is traveling and living in it.
Attitudes Toward Foreign Peoples
The attitude that natives have toward foreign people is a key factor for our organization. When our customers arrive to Colombia we need them to feel like home. Most of the tourists that arrive here said that Colombian people are excellent hosts, Colombians treats people with a lot of charisma and placement.

•People are using more technology devices in their daily activities, for traveling technology is indipensable as reported the PhoCusWright. (4)
•When traveling, people are using less backpacks or bags. People are looking up for comfort and less weight. (2)
•People are preferring to use transportation methods that don’t pollude the environment, such as bycicle. (1)
•Nowadays american families are constituted by full time employed parents whit usually one son, there is an important nedd for daycare facility. This families usually have a considerable income and are looking for abroad tourism plans on vacation. (1)
•As divorce rates have increased, there are many households compound by one parent and children. Sons are now more independent and are looking for leaving their homes early. (1)

Population changes by race, age, sex, and level of affluence.
Population changes by city, country, state, region, and country.
In United States of America, every state has its own laws, inside the country the population will behave different depending on the state they are living. In Colombia is different, the laws are the same for all the country, every department should follow the same rules. But in contrast, the people for each region of our country are different, live different and behave in diverse ways. It is not the same living in Medellin, Cartagena, Bogota or Neiva.
This diversity on the people on each city/region in our country benefits the tourism industry, for the foreign people is great to see and live the different cultures inside Colombia.
As the generations keep changing, our world also will change, the younger people are more open minded, they understand more the earth and have more possibilities of knowing what is surrounding us. The new generations are more interested in the nature and the care we need to have for the future. Actually, this “green trend” that is taking the world will benefit our organization. The interest of knowing new great places of the ecological generations will bring us more customers for the eco-travels.
NUMBER OF MARRIAGES
The decline of marriage is worldwide although not universal, and it’s probably not accounted for by age and education changes. It affect the industry because of the fact that most of the tourism trips are directed to families.
Family Inequality,. 'Marriage Is Declining Globally: Can You Say That?'. N.p., 2013. Web. 19 Aug. 2015.
https://familyinequality.wordpress.com/2013/06/12/marriage-is-declining/
NUMBER OF DIVORCES
Latin America and South Africa are low, with countries such as Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and South Africa registering marriage rates below 4. The rates in these countries may be particularly low owing to a relatively youthful population, the popularity of cohabitation, and the prevalence of long-term migration, which makes marriage more difficult. These are also countries where marriage is becoming increasingly delayed.
This divorces rates, as a social variable, represent a low percentage however it affects our industry because, greater number of families will increase the demand of the trips.
Sustaindemographicdividend.org,. 'Global Family Structure | The Sustainable Demographic Dividend'. N.p., 2015. Web. 19 Aug. 2015.
NUMBER OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS
BIRTHS: 16.47 births/ 1,000 population (2015)
DEATHS: 5.4 deaths/1,000 population (2015)
This two variables are related and affect our industry positive or negative. In the future two scenarios may arise, in one hand there will be more people applying two jobs and creating new organizations that will be our competency and also people who invest in our service, and in the other hand there will be few people available to work and they will not have enough money to invest in a trip.

IMMIGRATION AND EMIGRATION RATES
Net migration rate: -0.65 migrant(s)/1,000 population (2014 est.)
This variable have an impact on our industry because a high level of migration can increase the unemployment or reduce the labor force, affecting the economy and the reducing our sales.

SOCIAL SECURITY PROGRAMS
First law: 1946, implemented in 1965.
All Colombians, and in particular every worker has the right to be guaranteed comprehensive social security, understood as health coverage and the risks of disability and death, as the coverage for accidents.
This social variable guarantees a safety environment for any industry, providing a safety job and work. In our industry is important to have a clear and good image, showing the commitment and responsibility that we as a company have, this way we will attract more customers.

The surveys made by “El tiempo” showed What colombians perceived of traffic congestion:
The survey shows that 65 % of people last longer in their paths , 23 points higher than the previous result
The list of critical areas complete the avenue 19 between streets 134 and 127, where it takes 45 minutes to leave the traffic jam . Another example is the North highway 87 road in rush hour, and that is a main thoroughfare . Also at the 9th Avenue , north to south , between 151-106 streets . (Movilidad bogota)

The attitude that Colombian people have towards authority is not the best. Nowadays, people do not respect the authorities, and if they are an authority they take advantage of it. For our organization, this will affect us, specially talking about the security of our customers, because they become vulnerable against the country.

•Bogota city can be divided in several inner-city environments, each of them with specific characteristics, for example “el restrepo” is known to be the center of the shoe industry. In terms of travel agencies there is not a defined environment.
•As many of our transactions and communications with our clientsare made online, there is not much importance of the inner-city environment. But considering our market traget, our physical offices would better be located hear 93 Street or 85 Street which is know to be one of the finest bussines centers of Bogota.

And as shown in attitudes towards savings, few of this capital is send to banks accounts. Americans are very interested in consuming.
•In Colombia the annual average of Disposable Income (USD million) increase by 2.8% compared to the year 2014. Considering that a Americans, Colombians are not saving their money, this increase of capital will be represented as an increase in consume.

Studies from Fededesarrollo revealed 38.1 percent of workers are unhappy with their jobs. This feeling is evident , for example, employees who do not formalized in writing their contract and those working part-time in construction, transportation or weather.
Happiest workers are found in multinational companies or in very big national companies.

Sex Roles
Gender roles refer to the set of social and behavioral norms that are considered to be socially appropriate for individuals of a specific sex. There has been significant variation in gender roles over cultural and historical spans, and all gender roles are culturally and historically contingent.
The national trend toward a total integration of gender roles is reflected in women's education, professional achievement, and family income contributions. Currently, more women than men are enrolled in college, and women are expected to earn more graduate degrees than men over the next several years. In 2015, 22% of American households had two income earners, which suggests the presence of women in the workforce.
Only wealthy people in Americans can be able to invest, people who have enough money to satisfy their needs, and still have enough to invest or just to save it at the bank. This attitude completely depends on the economic level that the person have. If they have enough to fill their necessities and still have enough to invest, there are many possibilities such as land, or give it to a shareholder that will help him to invest. Because of the very great moment that de dollar is having in the international markets, the Americans are investing a lot the lasted research said that less than half, or 48%, of American adults have money in stocks, according to Bankrate's Money Pulse survey.

Fewer than one in three black Americans and not even half of whites say the United States has made “a lot” of progress toward achieving racial equality in the half-century since the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. declared he had “a dream” that one day freedom justice and brotherhood would prevail and that his children would “not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character”. Blacks and whites generally agree that the two races get along well, but about 7 in 10 blacks and more than 1 in 4 whites also concur that blacks are treated unequally by the criminal justice system. A majority of blacks also say they are treated less fairly than whites in public schools and in the workplace. Not so much, though, that nearly half of all Americans 49 % in all, or 44 % of whites, 48 % of Hispanics and 79 % of blacks said a lot more progress needed to be made to achieve Dr. King’s vision of a colorblind society. Republicans are more likely than Democrats to believe there has been racial progress. Fully 80 % of all Americans say at least some more needs to be done.
Racial Equality
There are 61 million U.S. women in their childbearing years (15–44). About 43 million of them (70%) are at risk of unintended pregnancy that is, they are sexually active and do not want to become pregnant, but could become pregnant if they and their partners fail to use a contraceptive method correctly and consistently.

In the United States, 42% of all 25-64 year-olds have a tertiary (higher education) attainment, making it one of the most well-educated countries in the world. Only Canada (51%), Israel (46%), Japan (45%) and the Russian Federation (54%) have higher tertiary attainment levels among this age group (Table A1.3a). At the same time, a number of countries have now surpassed the U.S. in the percentage of younger adults with a tertiary attainment. The U.S. ranks 14th among 37 OECD and G20 countries in the percentage of 25-34 year-olds with higher education, at 42% above the OECD average (38%), but far behind the leader, Korea (65%).
-
The U.S. ranks 14th in the world in the percentage of 25-34 year-olds with higher education (42%).
-
The odds that a young person in the U.S. will be in higher education if his or her parents do not have an upper secondary education are just 29% -- one of the lowest levels among OECD countries.
-
The U.S ranks 28th in the percentage of 4-year-olds in early childhood education, with a 69% enrolment rate.

According to “Comisión de Regulación de Energía y Gas (CREG)”, 77% of the electric energy generated in Colombia comes from hydraulic plants. In 27 years, the energy consumption will grow to a 53%, according to the US Energy Information Administration
The energy conservation affect our organization in the way that it is related with the nature. There are some places that in the future will stop being touristic and will turn into energy plants, because the idea is that all the energy should be 100% renewbable some day.
Most of the social programs are directed to anti-poverty, security, nutrition and alimentation, education, re-insertion, social inclusion, enironmental care and others.
In Colombia, a main social program as the social inclusion and poverty decrease will be a opportunity for all the industries to cooperate for the wealfare of the Country

Hartford Institute estimates there are roughly 350,000 religious congregations in the United States. Of those, about 314,000 are Protestant and other Christian churches, and 24,000 are Catholic and Orthodox churches. Non-Christian religious congregations are estimated at about 12,000. In Colombia there are about 5,000 evangelical churches and each month, on average received 89 requests for the creation of new congregations.
The number of churches is not a key variable for our industry. It will affect it in the way that some people are interested in churches as a tourist place, but it wont have a very high effect.
On any given Sunday, 118 million Americans (40 percent of the population) will actually be in church. According to the Evangelical Council of Colombia (CEDECOL), the churches gather at least 8 million believers.
The number of church members is not a key variable for our organization. It will affect it in some way, but not with a very high effect. Members of most of the churches believe that God create everything, and they will take care of that “everything”, in this way, they will enjoy our services, the touch of nature.
Nowadays, most of the individuals choose their career hoping for a great payment than for a happy employment. Most of the careers that people decide to study are based on administration, marketing, international aspects and engineers. This affect us in a positive and negative way, positive because our customers are specially international, and negative because people are leaving behind the careers based on biology, nature, environment and related.
A recent study shows that americans in their leisure time, the large majorities of workers say they are satisfied with number of hours they work and the amount of leisure time they have. Contrary to popular belief, only a small percentage have long commutes or use laptops for taking work home, said Bowman.
Workers report enjoying their time off more than their time on the job, and they add that technology makes leisure time more enjoyable. Riehle’s new poll found that when Americans’ leisure time suffers, they experience increased levels of stress both on and off the job.

“When it comes to customer satisfaction, it all comes down to perception: How the customer sees and experiences the product and service provided by your business. It’s not what you believe or think, not what your studies or focus groups tell you, but what your actual customers feel, experience, and say. So your bottom-line, financial results are tied to customer satisfaction and quality. In turn, quality is measured along two dimensions, the physical and the performance.”
Because of the aformentioned information, if in pur industry there is a good product quality, that will remind in the customer experience, consequently they will like to continue with us because they like it, also, because one customer brings other consumer, so if they like the product quality, there will be a considerable increase of numbers in our customers.

Federal laws generally apply to people living in the United States and its territories. Congress creates and passes bills. The President then signs those bills into law. Federal courts may review these laws and strike them down if they think they do not agree with the U.S. Constitution.
The United States Code contains the general and permanent laws of the United States. It does not include regulations issued by executive branch agencies, decisions of federal courts, treaties, or laws enacted by state or local governments. New laws are assigned a public law number and included in the next edition of the United States Statutes at Large. You can also find new laws enacted by the current Congress before they are part of the United States Statutes at Large. If you are looking for older laws and have trouble finding them on the Internet, visit a law library or a Federal Depository Library.
