Location and severity of terrorist activities
The fall in oil prices affects the tourism industry, forcing to change some of their prices and also affecting investment. On the other hand an increase of dollar also affects the tourism industry but in a positive way.
Terrorism affects the tourism industry, generating insecurity and bad image for tourists. Hence reduces the number of tourists, reduced investment, and increased marketing costs.

NUMBER OF PATENTS
A patent is a privilege/title that the Government grants to the inventor as recognized of the investment and effort accomplished by him/she for achieve a technique solution that benefits the humanity. A patent gives the inventor the right to prevent others a certain time manufacturing, selling and / or commercial use of the protected invention.
In Colombia, the number of patents rised until the year 2013 with an amount of 2163 patents conceided by the “Ministerio de Industria y Comercio”. But, compared to other countries, Colombia has a low number of patents every year.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION LAWS
The environmental regulation is defined as the set of objectives, principles, criteria and general guidance for the protection of the environment of a particular society. Colombia, is one ofthe first countries in Latin America that proposed the environmental regulation since 1991 with the Colombian Political Constitution. Which rises to constitutional rule the consideration, management and conservation of natural resources and the environment, through the enactment of the Right to a healthy environment and sustainable development: Articles 79 and 80.
The entity in charge of consolidating the environmental laws is The Environmental Information System of Colombia (SIAC).
Our industry of eco-tourism is affected by this factor because the services we provide are totally related to the environment, all our tours need to function according to the laws, in this way the environment (our main stage) wont be damaged. Also, our objective is to teach our customers about this laws and the right way to treat the nature and all the places they will go with us.

Government Regulations or Deregulation
Regulations are rules or regulations issued by the government to ensure social benefits. Under general terms, all individuals and legal entities in Colombia, who are deemed income taxpayers, including nonresidents (not expressly excluded by the law to pay this tax) are subject to this tax, provided their tax net equity (gross assets minus debts) as of 1 January 2015, is greater than COP 1,000,000,000 (approx. USD 388,800). In addition, unliquidated inheritances also are subject to this tax if the tax net equity threshold is met.
Changes such as: Personal and family minimum increase and the creation of tax benefits for large families and people with disabilities; Taxation of savings is implemented, the fee depends on the amount; The taxation of severance pay and delivery of shares of the company to its employees is modified; Yields economic activities are modified; Deduction and reduction is implemented by the rental housing or New tax in corporation. Is an organization that is registered in the Federal Election Commission for the specific purpose of raising money to elect or defeat a candidate. In Colombia the PAC's are the new figure through which shall be defined in all regions, the issuance of guarantees to candidates, conduct or no internal consultation and strategies party with a view to the elections. (Partido liberal, 2014)
This variable is important because this committees is responsible for defining political issue in the country, and due to this fact services organization can be affected for decisions taken, any political, social or economic change aginsts the tourism industry can have a big impact on our organization.
Voter Participation Rates
In Colombia people eligible to vote are 32.8 million. At the polls recently attended more than 14.3 million citizens taking into account the number of votes in the Senate. This constitutes another defeat for democracy because, as seen, over half of the population does not exercise its right.
The figures show that although the electoral roll grew from 1958-2010, an average of 1,893,699 citizens in every presidential election, ie approximately 7.69% by presidential period and 99.97% in the last 52 years , political participation has always fluctuated over 56.52%.
These rates show the participation of citizens in the electoral period, the fluctuation in comparison with past years.

•The Government is preparing a new antitrust and control status to all unfair practices that occur in the production and marketing of goods and services .There is a very important project related to antitrust legislation to the mobile service companies.(1,2)
•These new practices will intend to strengthen the current laws, after what happen in the diapers industry. (2)
•There are no current antitrust laws specific to the tourism industry, as any other law within the Colombian constitution, our company must guarantee that no law, will be broken.

This significant growth is making a change and adding value to the creation of new goods and technology that at the same time help the economy of the country financially and in terms of advance.

Now, taking into account our tourism industry, this factor will affect us in the way that a lot of money is being used for a defense and military purposes, and other important aspects as development, infrastructure, maintenance and transport, and others are being “forgotten”. For us, this is positive and negative. Positive because our foreign and national customers will feel save and be protected during their trips, and negative because things like for example infrastructure are an important aspect that attract more tourists to Colombia.

The dignified, decent and quality work must be a real possibility for all Colombians.
In Colombia, is established that men and women should have the same right and possibility to accede to any job, which they should be pay and treat equally. The real problem is that it is written but not taken into action, and it will affect every sector in Colombians industries. Continuing to represent one of the largest shifts of public opinion in Gallup history, 87% of Americans now favor marriage between blacks and whites, up from 4% in 1958.
These data are from Gallup's Minority Rights and Relations poll, conducted June 13-July 5. The poll surveyed 4,373 Americans, including 1,010 non-Hispanic blacks.
Approval of marriages between blacks and whites is up one percentage point from 2011, when this attitude was last measured. Approval has generally increased in a linear fashion from Gallup's first measure in 1958, reaching the majority threshold in 1997, and crossing the three-quarters line in 2004. Eleven percent of Americans today say they disapprove of black-white marriage, compared with 94% who disapproved in 1958.
Blacks' approval of black-white marriage (96%) is now nearly universal, while whites' approval is 12 percentage points lower, at 84%.

In Colombia, there is the exchange rate regime that is in charge of this duty. Last year, the importations were higher than the exportations.

Currently, the Colombian peso has reached a level of depreciation that we have never seen before. The effect of this in our industry is both good and bad. Since our industry Works within two countries, Colombia and United Stated, we can expect that because of the deceleration of the economy, people from Colombia will have a more “saving” attitude, meanwhile, the Americans, will find that everything is cheaper here and that will give them a reason to come and visit our country, giving the tourism industry a boost.
The political conditions in foreign countries are very important in the tourism business because sometimes, countries’ citizens’ have restrictions to leave the country or so. That is why is so important for this industries that countries are politically open, so their citizens are free to go wherever they feel to. Another way that the political conditions can affect, is in the home country, where if there exist any political unrest, the tourists wont feel like going there because the environment isn’t totally safe, therefore, they avoid these kind of places.
